Relationship Therapy
Our clinic offers diverse couples and relationship therapy including attachment-focused, narrative, somatic (polyvagal), emotionally-focused, and Gottman approaches. Sex therapy may be part of your therapy process if clinically appropriate. Our practice scope includes monogamous, and non-monogamous or non-dyadic intimate relationships.
Couples/relationship therapy can be a difficult process for all partners involved as it elicits many emotions during the session. It is important that prospective clients consider the clinician’s practice scope and specializations to ensure that their support needs can be met. We highly recommend that you request a brief phone consultation with the clinician before booking your intake/assessment session.
Please note that our clinic cannot accept partners currently engaged in one or more of the following circumstances:
Divorce proceedings
Criminal (partner violence) proceedings
Child custody or access dispute
Child protection investigation
Family or marriage mediation
Please provide details of your situation when contacting our clinic, so that the clinician may advise you of the most appropriate steps. If your relationship situation is presenting safety concerns, immediate interventions will be required outside of our clinic.
